IMPORTANT NOTES TO ASSIST WITH COMPLETION OF THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT APPLICATION FORM

Section A: PROPOSED STUDY 

  • A1.​ Most applicants will select Undergraduate.
    ** Note that choosing the Foundation Programme involves 4 years of study. This is a requirement for some applicants due to GPA/test scores

  • A2. Be sure to complete your 1st and second choices after carefully referring to the University of Chester Course Catalog

  • A4. Mode of study is Full Time

  • A5. CHOOSE UG YEAR 1/LEVEL 4 

  • A6. YOU MAY HAVE COLLEGE CREDITS TAKEN WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL

  • A7. Proposed start date: September 2019

 

Section B: PERSONAL DETAILS [USE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS WHEN COMPLETING

  • Complete B1-B4 completely. If you are were born in the United States your nationality is United States of America.

  • B10. Home address: Include house number, street, city, state, zip code

 

Section C: QUALIFICATIONS OBTAINED.

  • ONLY COMPLETE IF YOU HAVE FINISHED A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND OR COLLEGE DEGREE

 

Sections D: QUALIFICATIONS PENDING

  • Complete using the following as an example:

  • LEVEL/ QUALIFICATION: Enter High School Diploma

  • Subject: Enter either College Prep courses. International Baccalaureate IBD, High School Curriculum Start Month year enter month and year you started HS and end month year you complete HS.

  • Name of College/University: Enter the name of your High School

  • Expected results: state GPA and High School Diploma , Honors diploma or International Baccalaureate Degree etc.

 

SECTION E: PREVIOUS STUDY IN THE UK 

  • Complete only if applicable​.

 

SECTION F: EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION

  • Complete requested information

 

SECTION G: ENGLISH LANGUAGE:

  • Complete ONLY if English is NOT your first language.

 

SECTION H: PERSONAL STATEMENT

  • A detailed guidance about writing a personal statement can be found here.

  • This statement should be written entirely in your own words. Any text found not to be your own may result in your application being rejected. 

  • It is very important that this relates to your academics. It should not be a statement about your desire to play ‘basketball’, relate to the academic aspirations, social and cultural experiences

SECTION J: REFERENCES

  • References from family and friends are not acceptable. 

  • All references must be supplied on headed paper and signed by the referee.
